Due to its flexibility, technology and compatibility with other systems/programs, Mobility-Online is used by over 300 universities in over 30 countries.
There are two ways to implement Mobility-Online: SaaS (Software as a Service) and In-house (on-premise).
SAAS - HOSTED SOLUTION
The software as well as the database with all your data will be hosted directly by SOP on ISO-certified server centers in Austria.
The server hardware, the operating system as well as the database system and the other system components are provided by SOP, i.e. you do not need any local installations, all you need is Internet access and a web browser.
Your data is hosted within the EU and is not passed on to any third parties. Needless to say, at SOP, everything runs in compliance with the GDPR. Data protection and data security are our top priority.
You can choose whether you prefer to have the application hosted on the high-availability cluster or isolated on a dedicated instance.
The advantage of a dedicated instance is that the URL of the application, the server settings, the backup strategy, etc. can be tailored even more precisely to your needs and requirements.
INHOUSE - DATA HOSTING ON THE CUSTOMERS SERVER
The software is installed on a central server of the customer. Hardware, software and database system on the server are provided and maintained by the customer.
