This mission relies on the enrollment of international students (200+ per year) in the various programs offered by the university —MSc in Engineering, MSc, and PhD—as well as on the academic mobility of its French students (250+ per year). Faced with an increase of fluxes, IMT Atlantique sought a robust solution to have a more integrated, paperless, and efficient process.

Before implementing Mobility-Online, IMT Atlantique utilized a fragmented system spread across its different campuses. To improve efficiency, it was crucial to consolidate resources and set up a shared tool that could handle incoming and outgoing mobility, partnerships and scholarships, as well as the Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) process.

Stéphanie Serrec, Project Manager in the International Relations Department, describes the implementation as a gradual and successful development:

• Initial Phase: The school focused first on managing partnerships and incoming mobility.
• Expansion: The system was then expanded to include outgoing mobility.
• Integration: Scholarship management was subsequently integrated into the platform and, more recently, the transfer of scholarship datas to the Beneficiary Module.
• Adaptation: MobilityOnline allowed us to import and combine/mix the data, enabling us to launch our buddy program last year

Today, Mobility-Online is central to the school’s strategic objective of process simplification, internationalisation&diversity as well as Decision making. The platform provides:

• High-Quality Monitoring: Simplified management and oversight of all mobility data and quality metrics.
• Real-Time Access: All University departments can access the tool in real time to retrieve necessary data.
• Efficiency, Flexibility and support: Stéphanie Serrec notes that the tool is highly effective and fully customizable to the institution's specific needs.
