With a strong commitment to internationalization, the university manages a wide range of mobility opportunities for students and staff, including blended, virtual, and physical programs both in Europe and beyond. Prior to Mobility-Online, the university relied on Excel and Access files alongside its internal IT system, resulting in fragmented, inefficient processes and a lack of clarity regarding the status of student applications.

A Tailored Solution for Complex Mobility Needs

Mobility-Online was chosen for its flexibility, adaptability, and ability to integrate with existing IT systems. Thanks to the integration between Mobility-Online and the university’s internal platforms, Padova has achieved significant efficiency improvements. Staff can now track the status of student applications in real-time, manage bulk communications, and oversee grant allocations with new tools specifically developed for the university’s needs.
The workflow and pipeline features have had a particularly strong impact, streamlining operations for staff while giving students clear visibility into their application progress. This has drastically reduced the number of emails and requests for clarification, freeing up time and resources for the office to focus on strategic activities.

High Satisfaction and Measurable Results

A recent survey of outgoing students for the 2024–2025 academic year revealed very high satisfaction with Mobility-Online, with students giving the system an average rating of 8.5–9 out of 10. This demonstrates how the platform not only improves operational efficiency but also enhances the overall student experience.
The university currently offers approximately 1,900 Erasmus agreements, 500 bilateral agreements, and 50 double/joint degree programs, hosting around 2,500 incoming and outgoing students per academic year.
