We are delighted to announce the beginning of a new partnership between SOP Mobility-Online and the CINECA university consortium in the field of digital transformation. This milestone marks the start of close collaboration between two established IT providers in the Italian higher education sector, united by the shared goal of further integrating and optimizing end-to-end digital processes in student and mobility management.

The partnership will focus on developing seamless, integrated digital workflows and enabling data exchange between Mobility-Online and ESSE3. This will allow universities to build more efficient, consistent, and interconnected digital infrastructures.

CINECA is one of Italy’s leading computing centres and among the most advanced worldwide in High Performance Computing (HPC). It is also a major provider of digital solutions and services for universities, research institutions, the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM). It supports large-scale digital transformation across the public sector.

SOP brings Mobility-Online, its flexible, market-leading mobility management system, to the partnership. The software will be adapted to meet the country-specific requirements of Italian universities.

An important first milestone has already been reached: development of the interface between Mobility-Online and ESSE3 has officially begun, laying the groundwork for efficient data exchange between the two systems.
