We are thrilled to announce the 12th edition of our Community Event, taking place from June 4 to 6, 2025, at the “twelve” Conference Center on the Wienerberg in Vienna.
Since its launch, the Community Event has been a central gathering for the Mobility-Online user community. With the exception of a one-year break in 2020 and a virtual edition in 2021 due to the pandemic, the event has taken place annually across various European cities. It resumed in person in 2022 in Sofia, followed by successful editions in Vienna (2023) and Milan (2024). Now, in 2025, we are excited to return to Vienna for the 12th edition. Previous host cities have included Tallinn, Budapest, Salzburg, Hamburg, and Vienna, where the event has been held several times.

The Community Event serves as an important platform for users to meet, network, and deepen their knowledge of Mobility-Online. It offers attendees an opportunity to engage directly with the project managers of the SOP team, learn about the latest features and updates, and participate in a series of workshops, presentations, and hands-on sessions designed to optimize their use of the platform.
What Makes This Event Special?
The Community Event is more than just a conference. It’s a space for direct interaction between users and project managers of the SOP team, allowing everyone to:
An essential part of the Community Event is the release presentation, where new features and enhancements to Mobility-Online are introduced each year. In fact, the event was originally launched as a “release event” before evolving into a broader platform for learning, exchange, and community building.
As noted by Gerald Mauberger, Managing Director of SOP: "The goal is to strengthen the relationship between users and the SOP team, to learn together, and to gain valuable insights into the ongoing development of Mobility-Online."
Participants have also highlighted the value of meeting peers from other institutions and exchanging ideas, making the event a truly global gathering.
New Features and Functionalities
As in previous years, the event will showcase the latest updates and improvements to Mobility-Online. These include tools that aim to enhance the user experience and streamline operations, with a particular focus on innovations like artificial intelligence and advanced volume operations.

Ahead of the event, we’ll also be running a “Countdown to Community Event” on social media, where we will share video highlights from past events and insights from our staff and customers about why the Community Event is a must-attend occasion.
